Physical & Walking Therapy

It’s just as important to maintain our health and physical fitness, or to support the body when it is recovering from injury, illness, or periods of inactivity.

I work with both mental health and fitness. Exercise can help prevent and reduce anxiety and depression.

It may be that you want to improve your fitness, are returning to exercise and finding it difficult, or feeling frustrated that your body is not working in the way it once did.

Talking therapy alongside physical movement can support you to come to terms with change, finding peace, and reconnecting with yourself — with who you are and who you want to be.

Walking and Talking Therapy

Walk and talk therapy in natural surroundings combines conventional counselling with the benefits of being outdoors, supporting both physical and mental health.

Talking and walking in nature helps to reduce stress, lift mood, and encourage greater self-compassion. The tranquillity of nature often makes it easier to access and express emotions more freely.

Walking side by side can feel less intense than sitting face-to-face, allowing conversations to flow more naturally.

Being in nature can be calming, encouraging reflection and mindfulness, and a more holistic therapeutic experience.
